Have a kid who loves to try anything creative???
Here at KClayton Studio we love to embrace that creativity and allow kids to try new things and engage in different art forms.
Our art focus for the month:
How can animals influence artists to celebrate nature through their art?
These lessons explore the element of texture on multiple levels for many types of animals including sea otters, porcupines, bison, sloths, armadillos and more. From using markers to create the look of animal fur to scratching into paint to make fun actual texture, students are sure to be engaged with these techniques. Drawing is emphasized (guided and observation) as well as multiple different forms of printmaking throughout the grade levels.
